SESSION 3 – OVERVIEW OF THE LATEST GREEN MRO PRODUCTS AND INITIATIVES

11:20 – 11:50

Sustainability in Heavy Maintenance

Sustainability is hugely important in an industry that is often portrayed as bad for the environment. What can airlines and MRO’s do to reduce the impact of our operations on the environment and to demonstrate a real commitment and real impact on our footprint.
From high impact items like aircraft choice and engine choice to more marginal gains there are actually many ways that airlines and MRO’s can make real improvements.
This presentation will review some of the current initiatives and potential initiatives in Ryanair Engineering related to sustainability.
