Cutting fluids and chip treatment: cost and environmental impact reduction
-
More information
During the machining process of aerospace components there is a big margin of reducing cost and environmental impact thanks to changes that are not usually taken into consideration. These changes are mainly choosing the most suitable cutting fluid (coolant) and treating correctly the metal chips (briquetting). EHAFF is an expert in helping aerospace customers to achieve this thanks to offer:
- A suitable an aerospace coolant which could reduce the tool life (normal cost around 50 €/hour per machine) even up to 230% (case study) in alloys like titanium or nickel based steels, reduce the production time or multiply the lifespan of the emulsion reducing the carbon footprint. EHAFF is distributor of Master Fluid Solutions, an American cutting fluids manufacturer focused on developing products for aerospace sector and they will be on the booth with us.
- Chip treatment through Briquetting machines. Specially in aerospace machining where a lot of metal is removed is possible to have a very fast return of investment due to reduction of the chips volume (4 times), 20% of scrap weight recovered as coolant emulsion what it also means a perfect circular economy example reducing the environmental impact.

Digital Engineering: Seamless Integration from Mission Definition to Operation
-
More information
This presentation will explore the crucial role of models in facilitating digital engineering processes. We will delve into the significance of the digital thread in enabling functionalities such as: functional assessment, analysis and simulation of diverse strategies, as well as iterative definition and refinement of architectures and behaviors, facilitating the collaboration among stakeholders. We will emphasize how models support requirement-driven development enabling traceability across development cycles, and compliance with industry standards (DO-254/178C/326, ECSS, ARP4754A). Finally, the importance of a collaborative environment in both development and operational phases will be underscored. Attendees will gain insights into the transformative power of models in achieving digital engineering objectives.

GenAI applied to Defence and Aerospace... for real?
-
More information
It’s well known that the world of Aerospace and Defense has strong restrictions about the security and confidentiallity of the data they managed, which becomes a big restriction when it comes to the use of certain technologies such as GenAI which relies on the cloud. But… what if we can use this technology on a secure and isolated environment?
Let’s talk about GenAI and explore if it runs only on the cloud.
